What the $*!# is Freshly Stale?

The Stale History

Started in 2018, Freshly Stale has evolved many times over the years. At it’s core, this blog is a journal. I talk a lot about books, cafes, and art. That being said, this is my site and I’ll post whatever I feel like posting! Capisce?

What’s With the Name?

Nothing can stay fresh forever, it’s just a fact of life. Things are constantly going bad and getting stale; there’s not a whole lot that we can do to stop it. But we can slow it down. We can shake things up when they start to go stale, and keep things fresh by adding experiences to our lives.

Following the same schedule day in and day out, listening to the same music, eating the same foods, doing the same thing every day can be comfortable, but it can also get really boring really quickly.

Coffee tastes that much better because it isn’t tea, and tea tastes that much better because it isn’t coffee. Get my drift?

New ideas, new flavors, new sights, new anything helps to keep life from getting stale!

NATURE NEVER APPEALS TO INTELLIGENCE UNTIL HABIT AND INSTINCT ARE USELESS. THERE IS NO INTELLIGENCE WHERE THERE IS NO NEED OF CHANGE.”
