What the Heck is Freshly Stale?
The Stale History
Started in 2018 by (former) student Sam Nance, Freshly Stale has evolved many times over it’s few years. At it’s core, this blog is a place for me to share what I love. It doesn’t matter if it’s local cafes, good books, some original poetry, or something interesting about art history – Freshly Stale is a place for sharing it all!
What’s With the Name?
Nothing can stay fresh forever, it’s just a fact of life. Things are constantly going bad and getting stale; there’s not a whole lot that we can do to stop it. But we can slow it down. We can shake things up when they start to go stale, and keep things fresh by adding experiences to our lives.
Following the same schedule day in and day out, listening to the same music, eating the same foods, doing the same thing every day can be comfortable, but it can also get really boring really quickly. I like having a schedule, and old music, and will never get sick of coffee, and those things are even better when contrasted with new experiences!
Coffee tastes that much better because it isn’t tea, and tea tastes that much better because it isn’t coffee. Get my drift?
New ideas, new flavors, new sights, new anything helps to keep life from getting stale!
