Hey there everybody! When I first started this blog it was called The Hairy Kneecaps, it was a continuation of an Instagram project I had been working on during undergrad. But since graduating I’ve decided to rebrand!
The rebranding took place a while ago(consider yourself lucky if you didn’t see what I was working with before, yikes!) but I’ve been slacking on actually changing my domain name to match the name of the blog. For some odd reason or another I was thinking it would be really expensive, but gosh was I wrong!
Like, I was really wrong.
Did you know you can buy your own domain name through WordPress for only $18 a year?
That price is just for the personal accounts, but you can add on a business email and G Suites for an additional $50 or $5/month. But that’s not why I’m writing this post.
Freshly Stale can now be found at freshlystale.com instead of thehairykneecaps.com! The old domain was just too stale for me. The old domain represented college me who didn’t know what I wanted, let alone how to get what I might’ve wanted. I want to write, and I want to do it from home, so that’s what I’m gonna do!
See, I’ve always sort of known that I wanted to be a poet, that I am a poet, but I was too embarrassed to admit it for a really long time. I was too scared to show the world how I really felt. But not anymore!
For the first couple days freshlystale.com might bug out a bit, so if it does you can just search “freshly stale” on WordPress!
P.S. I changed the site’s color scheme when I changed the domain. Do you like it? Let me know in the comments!
